New Camry is ground to the ground. Any one have insight on the topic?

Unless it's manual. I've not given up hope.
It won't be manual or quick so it won't be fun. Hence it being grounded to the ground.

I wonder if they'll be upgrading to the new SE.

Why bother with a gaping maw... aggression for no reason.
The C-pillar graphic is awkward, also. Why bother? The black trim behind the door shut line is decoration only, doesn't improve the window graphic... and only serves to try and disguise the fact that this car is merely a face-lift of the existing Camry, with the same roofline and same side window graphic. Without that trim, the roofline would look just like the 2014.
Otherwise bland as all sedans. They are getting more and more boring and homogenized every year. It is becoming more of a big deal for a sedan to actually be handsome, rather than just blending into the beige muck of failing over-styling attempts.
Why even bother trying to differentiate the small detail differences between this and Hyundai's new Sonata, also released today at New York Auto Show. They both are bland.
And trunks are outmoded, anyway. Sedans only survive on tradition, not on much practical advantage. People buy them on familiarity and because that is just what they've had. It is not surprising that so many households have vehicles with rear hatches, be it CUVs, SUVs, hatchback cars, or even the few remaining long-roof wagon hold-outs.
sm70- why not Duesenberg?

Oh no, they didn't put LED headlights on all models?
